CVSS v2.0
7.8
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle WebLogic Server versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, 12.2.1.3.0
Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the WLS Core Components subcomponent of Oracle WebLogic Server, allowing a high-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the server. This can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data on the Oracle WebLogic Server.
Recommendations
For versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, and 12.2.1.3.0, consider restricting access to the WLS Core Components subcomponent until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
