Description
The issue is related to insufficient access controls in the Outside In Filters subcomponent of Oracle Outside In Technology, a software development kit (SDK). This can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or cause a partial denial of service using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Outside In Technology accessible data and the ability to cause a partial denial of service.
Recommendations
For versions 8.5.3 and 8.5.4, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent unauthorized access and denial of service attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
