Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the BI Publisher Security component of Oracle Fusion Middleware. It allows a remote attacker to modify, add, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks require human interaction and can significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all BI Publisher accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of BI Publisher accessible data.

Recommendations For version 11.1.1.9.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For version 12.2.1.3.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For version 12.2.1.4.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the BI Publisher component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
