CVE-2019-1834

CVSS v3.1

7.4

High

VectorAV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Cisco Aironet Series Access Points (APs) (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the internal packet processing of Cisco Aironet Series Access Points could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected AP. The issue exists because the AP forwards some malformed wireless client packets outside of the Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) tunnel. An attacker could exploit this by sending crafted wireless packets to an affected AP, potentially triggering a security violation on the adjacent switch port and resulting in a DoS condition.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
