Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the RemoteCall subcomponent of PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools, part of Oracle PeopleSoft Products. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information using the HTTP protocol. The attacker, with low privileges and network access, can compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools, resulting in unauthorized read access to a subset of accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 8.55 through 8.57, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent unauthorized access. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
