Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the RDBMS DataPump component of Oracle Database Server. It can be exploited by a remote attacker with DBA role privileges and network access via Oracle Net, potentially allowing them to gain full control over the system. Successful attacks can result in the takeover of RDBMS DataPump.
Recommendations
For version 11.2.0.4, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For version 12.1.0.2, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For version 12.2.0.1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For version 18c, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting network access via Oracle Net to minimize the risk of exploitation.
