CVE-2019-2568

CVSS v3.1

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle WebLogic Server versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, 12.2.1.3.0
Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the WLS Core Components subcomponent of Oracle WebLogic Server, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the server. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle WebLogic Server's accessible data. This vulnerability may significantly impact additional products beyond Oracle WebLogic Server.
Recommendations For versions 10.3.6.0.0, 12.1.3.0.0, and 12.2.1.3.0, consider restricting access to the WLS Core Components subcomponent until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for sensitive operations to minimize the risk of exploitation. Restrict network access to the Oracle WebLogic Server to reduce the attack surface. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
