Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Check Point IKEv2 IPsec VPN versions up to R80.30
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Check Point IKEv2 IPsec VPN software. It may allow a remote attacker to gain access to the internal network segment through an IKEv2 VPN tunnel, particularly in less common conditions where the attacker has knowledge of the internal configuration and setup.
Recommendations For Check Point IKEv2 IPsec VPN versions up to R80.30, consider restricting access to the VPN server until a patch or fix is available. As a temporary workaround, review and strengthen the internal configuration and setup to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
