Description
The issue is related to errors in security settings of HP workstation UEFI (BIOS) firmware. It may allow a remote attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information if the TPM module is disabled. The vulnerability is associated with workstations where the TPM is disabled by default.
Recommendations
For all affected versions, consider enabling the TPM module to minimize the risk of exploitation.
As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the BIOS settings until a patch is available.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
