CVE-2019-12387

CVSS v2.0

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Twisted versions prior to 19.2.1
Description The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the twisted.web component of the Twisted network framework. This allows a remote attacker to impact the confidentiality and integrity of protected information by injecting invalid characters, such as CRLF, into URIs or HTTP methods.
Recommendations For versions prior to 19.2.1, update to version 19.2.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the twisted.web component to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the twisted.web module in sensitive operations until the issue is resolved.
