CVSS v2.0

8.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.3, 12.2.3, 12.2.4, 12.2.5, 12.2.6, 12.2.7, 12.2.8
Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the CRM User Management Framework subcomponent of Oracle Common Applications. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Common Applications, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Common Applications accessible data. Successful attacks may also result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Common Applications accessible data and require human interaction from a person other than the attacker.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.3, 12.2.3, 12.2.4, 12.2.5, 12.2.6, 12.2.7, 12.2.8, consider restricting access to the CRM User Management Framework subcomponent until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for sensitive operations. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
