Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Oracle Retail Point-of-Service component, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of data and the ability to cause a partial denial of service.
Recommendations
For versions 13.4, 14.0, and 14.1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
