Description A remote code execution issue exists in Microsoft Windows, related to the processing of .LNK files. This could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code with the same user rights as the local user. An attacker can exploit this by placing a specially crafted .LNK file in a network file storage or on a network disk, allowing them to execute code on the target system with the current user's privileges.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
