Description
A vulnerability exists in the bridge protocol data unit (BPDU) forwarding functionality, allowing an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause an AP port to go into an error disabled state by sending crafted BPDU frames. This could lead to a limited denial of service (DoS) attack, causing an AP port to go offline. The issue arises from incorrect forwarding of BPDUs received from specific wireless clients and insufficient input validation.
