Description
A vulnerability was found in RSLinx Classic due to an input validation issue in a .dll file. This issue allows an attacker to exploit a stack-based buffer overflow condition by passing data in a Forward Open service request to a fixed size buffer. The exploitation of this vulnerability may impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.
Recommendations
For versions 4.10.00 and prior, update to a version later than 4.10.00 to resolve the issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
