CVE-2019-3014

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools versions 8.56 through 8.57
Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Performance Monitor subcomponent of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of accessible data.
Recommendations For versions 8.56 and 8.57, apply the necessary security patches to address the inadequate access control in the Performance Monitor subcomponent. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Performance Monitor subcomponent until a patch is available.
