Description
The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics component of Oracle Food and Beverage Applications. It allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to modify, add, or delete data, or access protected information using the HTTP protocol. Successful exploitation can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification of critical data.
Recommendations
For version 9.1.0, update to a version that addresses the inadequate access control issue to prevent exploitation.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics component via HTTP to minimize the risk of unauthorized data access or modification.
