Description
The issue is related to improper permission assignment in the CLI of the software, allowing an authenticated, local attacker to write files to the /root directory of an affected device. An attacker could exploit this by logging in as the
remotesupport user and writing files to the /root directory.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
