Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary code execution. Successful exploitation could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted file. The vulnerability is associated with a memory buffer overflow.
Recommendations
For versions 2019.012.20040 and earlier, update to a version later than 2019.012.20040 to resolve the issue.
For versions 2017.011.30148 and earlier, update to a version later than 2017.011.30148 to resolve the issue.
For versions 2015.006.30503 and earlier, update to a version later than 2015.006.30503 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of Adobe Acrobat and Reader until a patch is available.
