Description The issue is related to the jango.utils.encoding.uri to iri function in the Django web development framework, which is associated with incorrect encoding of UTF-8 octet sequences, potentially leading to excessive memory usage due to recursion. Exploitation of this issue could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations For Django versions 1.11.x before 1.11.23, update to version 1.11.23 or later. For Django versions 2.1.x before 2.1.11, update to version 2.1.11 or later. For Django versions 2.2.x before 2.2.4, update to version 2.2.4 or later.
