Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Xen versions prior to 4.13
Description
An issue in Xen allows Arm domU attackers to cause a denial of service through an infinite loop involving a LoadExcl or StoreExcl operation. The vulnerability is related to the execution of a cycle with an inaccessible exit condition, which can be exploited by an attacker to disrupt service.
Recommendations
For Xen versions prior to 4.13, update to version 4.13 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the LoadExcl and StoreExcl operations to minimize the risk of exploitation.
