CVSS v2.0

7.1

High

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Firefox versions prior to 69 Firefox ESR versions prior to 68.1
Description The issue is related to the improper assignment of access permissions for critical resources in Firefox, specifically concerning WebRTC permissions for microphone and camera access. This could potentially allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to information. To mitigate this, Firefox will no longer persist permissions for access to these resources, prompting users for permissions on each use instead.
Recommendations For Firefox versions prior to 69, update to version 69 or later to resolve the issue. For Firefox ESR versions prior to 68.1, update to version 68.1 or later to resolve the issue.
