CVSS v2.0

7.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PuTTY versions prior to 0.71
Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the cryptographic protection mechanism of PuTTY. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial-of-service. Multiple denial-of-service attacks can be triggered by writing to the terminal.
