Description The issue is related to the llcp sock create function in the AF NFC network module, which does not properly enforce the CAP NET RAW capability. This means that unprivileged users can create a raw socket. The vulnerability is associated with a lack of standard permission mechanisms, which could allow an attacker to impact data integrity.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions through 5.3.2, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent unprivileged users from creating raw sockets. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
