| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
MySQL Client versions 5.6.47 and prior

Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the C API component of the MySQL Client. It allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information using the MySQL protocol. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of MySQL Client accessible data.
Recommendations
For MySQL Client versions 5.6.47 and prior, update to a version later than 5.6.47 to resolve the issue.
For MySQL Client versions 5.7.29 and prior, update to a version later than 5.7.29 to resolve the issue.
For MySQL Client versions 8.0.19 and prior, update to a version later than 8.0.19 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting network access to the MySQL Client to minimize the risk of exploitation.
