Description
The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the dynamic memory of the Get16m function in jpgfile.c, which is part of the jhead tool for working with EXIF files. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted file to cause a denial of service.

At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
