Description The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability, which could lead to arbitrary code execution if successfully exploited. This vulnerability is associated with the use of memory after it has been freed, potentially allowing a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information.

For Adobe Acrobat and Reader versions prior to 2017.011.30142 and 2017.011.30143 respectively, update to a version later than 2017.011.30142 and 2017.011.30143. For Adobe Acrobat and Reader versions prior to 2015.006.30497 and 2015.006.30498 respectively, update to a version later than 2015.006.30497 and 2015.006.30498. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of the userName property in AcroForm until a patch is available.
