Description
The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat and Reader. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user by using a specially crafted file. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
Recommendations
For versions 2019.021.20056 and earlier, update to a version later than 2019.021.20056 to resolve the issue.
For versions 2017.011.30155 and earlier, update to a version later than 2017.011.30155 to resolve the issue.
For versions 2015.006.30505 and earlier, update to a version later than 2015.006.30505 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of specially crafted files that could trigger the use-after-free vulnerability until a patch is available.
