CVSS v2.0

10

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 73.0.3683.75
Description The issue is caused by errors in synchronization when using a shared resource in Google Chrome's internet storage. It may allow a remote attacker to bypass existing security restrictions by exploiting heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
Recommendations For versions prior to 73.0.3683.75, update to version 73.0.3683.75 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially vulnerable DOMStorage functionality until a patch is applied.
