Description A flaw was found in the way certain PDF files were converted into HTML, allowing a remote attacker to exploit this flaw by providing a malicious PDF file that, when processed by the 'pdftohtml' program, would crash the application causing a denial of service. The vulnerability is related to access to an uninitialized pointer, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service using a malicious PDF file.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
