Description
The issue is related to an integer overflow vulnerability in the
filter16 roberts function of the libavfilter/vf convolution.c component in the FFmpeg library. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain access to confidential data, compromise data integrity, and cause a denial of service.Recommendations
For FFmpeg version 4.2.1, consider disabling the
filter16 roberts function in the libavfilter/vf convolution.c component as a temporary workaround to minimize the risk of exploitation.
