Description The issue allows local attackers to access resources without authentication due to xscreensaver crashing during activation and leaving the screen unlocked when in Blank Only Mode and when DPMS is disabled.

Recommendations For versions prior to 5.14, update to version 5.14 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider enabling DPMS or avoiding the use of Blank Only Mode until the update is applied.
