Description The issue allows an attacker with administrator rights to execute arbitrary OS commands. This can be achieved via the FactoryPassword parameter or bootmode parameter of a certain URL.
Recommendations For Aterm HC100RC version 1.0.1 and earlier, avoid using the FactoryPassword and bootmode parameters in the affected URL until the issue is resolved. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the administrator rights to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
