Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
JTBC version 3.0
Description
The issue concerns a CSRF flaw in the "/console/account/manage.php" endpoint, specifically when the "type" parameter is set to "action" and the "action" parameter is set to "add". This allows for the addition of an administrator account without proper validation.
Recommendations
For JTBC version 3.0, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "/console/account/manage.php" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
type and action parameters in this endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
