Description The issue is caused by an error in the homeplugd process, allowing an attacker to send a specially crafted UDP packet and exploit this to cause the device to reboot. This results in a denial of service.
Recommendations For Tenda PA6 Wi-Fi Powerline extender version 1.0.1.21, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the homeplugd process until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
