CVSS v3.1

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Selesta Visual Access Manager (VAM) versions 4.15.0 through 4.29
Description An issue allows an attacker without authentication to execute arbitrary SQL SELECT statements by injecting the HTTP parameter persoid into the "/tools/VamPersonPhoto.php" endpoint. This is an Error-based SQL Injection, relying on error messages from the database server to obtain database structure information.
Recommendations For versions 4.15.0 through 4.29, consider restricting access to the "/tools/VamPersonPhoto.php" endpoint to prevent SQL injection attacks, and avoid using the persoid parameter in this endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
