| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
SolarWinds WebHelpDesk version 12.7.1
Description
The issue exists in the export feature of SolarWinds WebHelpDesk, where a low-privileged user can inject a formula via the Subject field of a help request form. This formula is then mishandled when an admin user exports data using the TicketActions/view?tab=group TSV export feature.
Recommendations
For SolarWinds WebHelpDesk version 12.7.1, consider restricting access to the export feature until a fix is available, or avoid using the Subject field in help request forms to prevent potential formula injection. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
