CVSS v3.1

7.4

High

VectorUI:R/PR:N/C:N/AV:N/I:H/AC:L/A:N/S:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions IBM Security Secret Server version 10.7
Description The issue allows a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks using an open redirect attack. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web site, the attacker could exploit this to spoof the URL displayed, redirecting the user to a malicious Web site that appears trusted. This could allow the attacker to obtain highly sensitive information or conduct further attacks against the victim.
Recommendations For IBM Security Secret Server version 10.7, consider restricting access to the Web interface until a patch is available to prevent potential open redirect attacks. As a temporary workaround, avoid clicking on links from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
