Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Android kernel
Description
The issue is related to a missing bounds check in the
authorize enroll function of the FPC IRIS TrustZone app, which can lead to an out of bounds read. This could result in local information disclosure, requiring System execution privileges for exploitation. No user interaction is needed for exploitation.Recommendations
For Android kernel, consider applying a patch that includes a bounds check in the
authorize enroll function to prevent out of bounds reads. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to sensitive information that could be disclosed through this issue until a patch is available.Fix
Out of bounds Read
