VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Android versions Android-11
Description In WiFi tethering, there is a possible attacker-controlled intent due to an unsafe PendingIntent. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Recommendations For Android version Android-11, consider restricting the use of WiFi tethering until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, disabling the WiFi tethering feature may help minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
