7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Zammad versions 3.0 through 3.2
Description An issue was discovered where confidential data is not prevented from being cached within browser memory. An attacker who either remotely compromises or obtains physical access to a user's workstation can browse the browser cache contents and obtain sensitive information. The attacker does not need to be authenticated with the application to view this information, as it would be available via the browser cache.
Recommendations For Zammad versions 3.0 through 3.2, consider implementing measures to prevent caching of confidential data within browser memory, such as using cache-control headers or other security mechanisms to minimize the risk of sensitive information exposure. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
