Description
A buffer over-read issue exists in the boot process due to size checks being ignored before copying the GUID attribute from a request to a response. This issue affects various Qualcomm Snapdragon products, including Snapdragon Auto, Snapdragon Compute, Snapdragon Consumer IOT, Snapdragon Industrial IOT, Snapdragon Mobile, Snapdragon Voice & Music, and Snapdragon Wired Infrastructure and Networking.
Recommendations
For each of the affected Qualcomm Snapdragon versions, update to a version that includes the fix for the buffer over-read issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
