| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
AT91bootstrap versions prior to 3.9.2
Description
The issue allows for the disclosure of encryption and authentication keys from memory, which can then be used to encrypt and sign the next boot stage, such as the bootloader. This occurs because the encryption and authentication keys are not properly wiped from memory before control is passed to a less privileged software component.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 3.9.2, update to version 3.9.2 or later to resolve the issue.
