CVE-2020-12058

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions osCommerce CE Phoenix versions prior to 1.0.6.0
Description The issue allows an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This can be achieved by injecting malicious code into specific parameters, including the page parameter to various admin pages such as "catalog/admin/order status.php", "catalog/admin/tax rates.php", "catalog/admin/languages.php", "catalog/admin/countries.php", "catalog/admin/tax classes.php", "catalog/admin/reviews.php", or "catalog/admin/zones.php"; or the zpage or spage parameter to "catalog/admin/geo zones.php".
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.0.6.0, update to version 1.0.6.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable admin pages and parameters until the update is applied. Avoid using the page, zpage, or spage parameters in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved.
