Description The issue allows a remote attacker to crash the app via a Bluetooth advertisement containing manufacturer data that is too short, interfering with COVID-19 contact tracing. This occurs due to an erroneous manuData.subdata call in OpenTrace.
Recommendations For COVIDSafe versions 1.0 through 1.1, update to a version that fixes the erroneous manuData.subdata call. For ABTraceTogether, ProteGO, and TraceTogether, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
