Description
An issue was discovered due to the unsafe use of a Java RMI based protocol in an unsafe configuration. This allows an attacker to inject malicious serialized objects into the communication, resulting in remote code execution in the context of a client-side Network Licensing Protocol component.
Recommendations
For SmartBear ReadyAPI SoapUI Pro version 3.2.5, consider disabling the use of the Java RMI based protocol until a patch is available. Restrict access to the Network Licensing Protocol component to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
