Description
The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Learner Pages component of Oracle iLearning, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle iLearning's accessible data.
Recommendations
For Oracle iLearning version 6.1, consider restricting access to the Learner Pages component until a fix is available. Additionally, ensure that all users are aware of the potential for social engineering attacks that may be used in conjunction with this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
