CVE-2020-13646

CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Cheetah free WiFi version 5.1
Description The issue allows local users to cause a denial of service (BSOD) or possibly have unspecified other impact. This is due to the driver file (liebaonat.sys) not validating input values from IOCtl 0x830020f8, 0x830020E0, 0x830020E4, or 0x8300210c.
Recommendations For Cheetah free WiFi version 5.1, consider disabling the liebaonat.sys driver file as a temporary workaround to minimize the risk of exploitation. Restrict access to the IOCtl codes 0x830020f8, 0x830020E0, 0x830020E4, and 0x8300210c to prevent potential denial of service attacks. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
