Description
The issue arises from the mishandling of errors during certain out-of-memory conditions in the
parser/js/js-scanner.c file. This can lead to a scanner reverse info list NULL pointer dereference and a scanner scan all assertion failure.Recommendations
For JerryScript version 2.2.0, consider applying a patch or fix that properly handles out-of-memory conditions to prevent NULL pointer dereferences and assertion failures. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
