Description An issue exists in the uIP TCP/IP stack component when handling RPL extension headers of IPv6 network packets. This issue is caused by an infinite loop in the rpl remove header function in net/rpl/rpl-ext-header.c.

Recommendations For Contiki versions through 3.0, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the rpl remove header function until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
